Bruxism and dental sensitivity
This patient from Outremont came to see Dr. Lechner complaining of a generalized hyper sensitivity. We noticed a lot of wear on the chewing surfaces of his teeth and a loss of tooth enamel related to nocturnal bruxism (grinding teeth during sleep).
The teeth were restored using a composite material. An occlusal splint was made for the patient to be worn every night in order to prevent the teeth from wearing down further.
