Root canal treatments

Endodontics refers to treatments performed in the pulp inside the tooth as a result of deep decay or trauma. The pulp can then become infected and require root canal treatment. After making a diagnosis using x-rays and other tests, the dentist will offer an endodontic treatment to the patient.

This type of intervention has the advantage of avoiding the loss of natural teeth. The treatment also prevents the need for dental implants or dentures.
