Bruxism and dental sensitivity

This patient from Outremont came to see Dr Lechner complaining of a generalized hyper sensitivity. We noticed a lot of wear on the chewing surfaces of his teeth and a loss of tooth enamel related to nocturnal bruxism (grinding teeth during sleep).

The teeth were restored using a composite material and an occlusal splint was made for the patient to be worn nightly in order to stop the progress of teeth wear.
